The little things in life.

Oh, the little things in life that bring such satisfaction:
#1-- Monday lab meeting food. Today, I ate sliced peaches with goat cheese on top. THAT was incredible. We have the usual fare of sliced baguette, cheese (jarlsberg, cheddar, goat), salami, prosciutto, farmer's market fruits (today was grapes, melon, peaches, apples) and vegetables (today was carrots). Yum. I devoured those peaches. And cheese. And salami.

#2-- Hand sharpening a pencil. I don't have an electric sharpener, so I used scissor blades and raw Lauren power.

Something that doesn't bring me satisfaction:
Being on hold and hearing really awful music and being told that there is 1 caller ahead of me. For 5 minutes.

HOW WAS THIS THE FIRST POST ABOUT FOOD??
That's absurd.
Quinn was right; I need to start talking about what I had for lunch. It brings me much more joy than does griping about Kaplan or housing.

Oh, and in other news, my fish did an awesome job from the last 5 days. Yes, I was sad to have lost the one fish that got stuck in between the barriers.... but he was probably a dumb fish and would have failed every trial anyway. Love my smart fish.

About to start a practice test... maybe that means that I'll miss Manz dinner (oops) and have to grab food from somewhere else.... :P
