Oh, but why NOT?

The first...

Once upon a time, I had a Livejournal.
And now, as a sophisticated rising senior in college, I've restarted what consumed me from February 28, 2003 until my senior year of high school. Right. I'll reemphasize sophisticated.

I guess the title of my blog underscores the very reason why I started this in the first place. Why NOT? It seems like a good idea to chronicle random happenings in my life ("from food to sweet nothings. And I mean nothings" as my description states) or to vent or to talk about what I ate (I haven't evolved much since my high school blog).

Will anyone actually read this? That's the question in every first entry ever posted, I think. I must be content with the fact that this is available for anyone to read, linked to directly from my Facebook page should someone decide too judge me further (double-single, grilled onions, extra-tomato, extra-lettuce?? what a fatty lolz... Hate to disappoint, but this opinion won't change by reading this blog. At all.).

Another question to pose: what kind of tone to adopt? Clearly, I've taken a pretty formal one... I certainly don't talk like this in real life (if I did, I'd enunciate every word. Thoroughly.), but it seems like a nice change. It makes me seem more sophisticated (judgejudgejudgejudge). Furthermore, on a really, really basic level, I can practice my writing. It's a good skill to have (oh HEY, transition). Thanks, Stanford.

Was this a bad idea?
We'll see.

MCAT next Friday.
Oh, wait. THAT'S the real reason I made this blog....
